Exploring innovations in packaging design, material developments and consumer trends for the beauty industry

14-15 November 2017, Maritim, Cologne

Organised by Applied Market Information Ltd. (AMI)

Cosmetic Packaging 2017 is a new conference from AMI that will examine the latest technical advancements, opportunities and forward-looking packaging trends in this high value market. An international line-up of expert speakers will discuss new developments in materials, production techniques and design aimed specifically at packaging for cosmetics, fragrance and beauty products.

In today’s competitive environment packaging has to do more than simply protect and be a tool for marketing. This high-level two-day event will explore the full range of technologies, from airless packaging and barrier properties to improve product longevity to smart packaging trends for anti-counterfeiting and traceability tools. There will also be a focus on the latest design trends and manufacturing processes for plastics closures and dispenser options.

Demand for plastic innovations for cosmetics, fragrance and beauty products is growing fast. Many end use applications are being driven by changing consumer behaviour and growing consumerism, as well as by category diversification thanks to brand owners’ evolving brand activity and by changing packaging trends.

In addition to a packed programme of expert presentations, Cosmetic Packaging 2017 will provide fantastic opportunities for networking with key players from throughout the supply chain. These will include refreshment breaks in the exhibition area, lunches and a cocktail reception at the end of the first day.
